A Poem for Rosemary

The Movie-star Goddess plays a Madonna and Child in her role as an unholy mother to the Anti-Christ. Her face is a landscape of hidden valleys and secrets mixed in with the hills of hell and sunshine beaten down into a warped poster illustration. Somewhere to the left of her eye sits the carriage holding the baby as it sleeps like a MONSTER at the edge of hair as gold as morning. She is the mourning star. Her eye is a pool of water on the oasis of her face and her lashes flutter like the feathers of tiny wings on the edge of her eye-lids, but she does not smile because of her twisted fate.
